Past Venue Location of WAFF Debut 2026: METRO Kinokulturhaus | Filmarchiv Austria

The West Asian Film Festival 2026 (WAFF Debut) took place at the METRO Kinokulturhaus, located in the heart of Vienna in the first district. The cinema is easily accessible by all forms of Vienna’s public transport. The opening evening on Wednesday, March 25, was held in the Historic Hall of the METRO Kino. All other WAFF-screenings from Thursday, March 26 until Sunday, March 29 took place in the METRO Cinema Salon (Kinosalon).

Festival Venue / Location Accessibility of Metro Kinokulturhaus

For visitors with walking difficulties and/or wheelchair users, the METRO Kinokulturhaus is accessible without steps via the entrance in front of the cinema bar. The box office, bar, and the Satyr Filmwelt film shop, as well as a wheelchair-accessible restroom, are all on the ground floor. All levels and cinemas are accessible via the ground-level elevator. Wheelchair spaces are available in the cinemas and can be reserved in advance. Admission is free for accompanying persons:
